Hi, I'm Jenell Del Cid (she/her)—a puppeteer, performance artist, and early childhood educator based in San Francisco. For the past decade, I've created whimsical, interactive experiences that help children discover their voices through puppetry, storytelling, and imaginative play.
My work blends the handmade charm of the Muppets with the gentle magic of classic picture books, inviting children to express themselves, solve problems creatively, and trust their imaginations. Whether leading a puppet-making workshop or performing a fully interactive birthday show, I create joyful, COVID-safe spaces where every child feels seen, silly, and celebrated.
With experience spanning classrooms, after-school programs, and family events, I design each session to be developmentally thoughtful and fully interactive. My puppet friends help shy children find courage, energetic kids practice patience, and every child discover they're the hero of their own story. Through collaborative play and story-driven adventures, we build confidence, nurture emotional growth, and spark creative expression—meeting each child exactly where they are.
Every program comes with professional credentials (background-checked, insured) and a commitment to safety that lets families relax and children play freely. Because when kids feel safe and supported, imagination takes flight.
