Stress-free entertainment that actually holds kids' attention! I bring everything needed for a 45-minute puppet show plus activities, work indoors or outdoors, and can accommodate small or large groups safely.

Hi, I'm Jenell Del Cid (she/her)—a puppeteer, performance artist, and early childhood educator based in San Francisco. For the past decade, I've created whimsical, interactive experiences that help children discover their voices through puppetry, storytelling, and imaginative play.
My work blends the handmade charm of the Muppets with the gentle magic of classic picture books, inviting children to express themselves, solve problems creatively, and trust their imaginations. Whether leading a puppet-making workshop or performing a fully interactive birthday show, I create joyful, COVID-safe spaces where every child feels seen, silly, and celebrated.
MISS — Window Installation, San Francisco, 2026
MISS transformed the window at Artists Television Access (ATA) into my dream classroom and studio. A world built from children’s art, puppets, picture books, and play. I wanted to create the kind of room I needed as a child: a place where imagination belongs to everyone. Inspired by years of teaching across San Francisco, MISS is a small piece of that dream made real, even if only behind glass for a month.
